What is transition? A way to show the logical connection between ideas. What is summary? Summary is retelling something in fewer words. When writing a summary , you need to notice what? 1.The summary ismuch shorter than the original text and the paraphrase. 2.It states only the main idea of the original. 3.some keywords are used. 4.Synonyms are used for words that are not key terms. 5.An in-text citation is given at the end of the summarized information. What is the difference between summary and paraphrasing? Summaries are always much shorter than the original text. When paraphrasing, you need to do what? 1.chand most words by using synonyms. 2.Use your own sentences. 3.keep the same keywords of the original text. What is plagiarism? Plagiarism means using another person's ideas or words without citing that person. What is paraphrasing? Paraphrasing means presenting the written information of another author by using the keywords of original bit restating the other idea in your own words.
